A combination class of ballet and tap that teaches clear technique and basic tap steps encouraging our students to dance and move in a completely positive learning environment.
Jr III ages 9-12
Thursday 4:45-6:00
At this level, there is extra class time to improve on previous experience and grow as dancers. Our focus is on challenging the students while building confidence and self esteem during the pre-teen years.
Ballet is a requirement with the exception of hip hop.
Junior Jazz
Jr I & II Jazz ages 6-10
Tuesday 6:00-6:45
Introducing basic jazz dance with stretching, isolations, strength, across the floor progressions and simple combinations while using a funky flair. Students are encouraged to dance with a free-to-be-me attitude!
Jr III Jazz ages 10-12
Thursday 6:00-6:45
This advanced level junior class reinforces basic jazz dance with stretching, isolations, strength, more advanced across the floor progressions and challenging combination. Students are encouraged to dance with a fun balance of freedom and skill.
Hip Hop & Contemporary
Youth Hip Hop for Jr Is
Wednesday 5:00-5:45
A fun and rhythmically exciting class that introduces kids to the art of Hip Hop dancing. So…bring some water and good shoes as we cruise with attitude into the world of the hip hop social dance.
Jr Contemporary
for Jr IIs & IIIS
Wednesday 5:00-6:00
A trendy fusion of ballet and jazz...taking away the rules and focusing on movement, expression and musicality.
Jr Hip Hop for
Jr IIs & IIIs
Wednesday 6:00-7:00
Kids release their inner hop as they move and groove to the social dance that looks good on them. This class aims to build students up through learning the fundamentals of hip hop dance in a fun friendly environment.
What to Wear
GIRLS: leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, black oxford tap shoes, tan jazz shoes, optional dance skirt, shorts or dance pants
BOYS: white t-shirt, black sweatpants, black ballet shoes, black oxford tap shoes, tan jazz shoes
